• Registered Nurse – Has practiced in Critical Care, PACU, and Emergency Medicine since 1993.
• Jennifer coordinates and executes the Standardized Patient Program including: hiring patient actors, maintaining the BLine Clinical Skills System, all students, patient and faculty scheduling.  She currently provides tours of and demonstrations within the Simulation & Educational Technology Center, programs the high-fidelity simulators, and coordinates all Clinical Skills Labs with faculty according to block schedules.

• Chris coordinates the High-Fidelity Simulations and the Simulation Assistantship Program.  In addition, he provides demonstrations and tours of the Simulation and Educational Technology Center, programs the high-fidelity simulators, and coordinates all Early Clinical Experiences/Clinical Skills Labs with the block schedules.

Janella is in charge of the Atrixware Weblearning website.  This includes compiling, uploading, and administering quizzes and exams.   She is also in charge of grade calculations.  In conjunction with the Educational Specialist duties, Janella also provides IT Support for the SIM Center.  This includes maintaining testing machines and the VCOM simulators.

Ms Setubal worked for more than 20 years in medical schools helping students understand and deal with the complexities of doctor-patient relationship. As an educator specialist she trains the standardized patient on how to evaluate the humanistic skills in the clinical exams. Part of her job encompasses meeting with students and discussing their difficulties and abilities in conducting a clinical encounter in a testing situation. She also offers guidance to students who need help on their communication skills.
