The center will be utilized at all levels of medical education from student to physician preparing for recertification or learning new procedures. Mr. Sam Lionberger of Lionberger Construction Company and Bill Price, VCOM Chief of Operations are supervising the $750,000 facilities renovation. Frederic Rawlins D.O., the Center Director, along with the senior academic administration team, will supervise the Phase I through Phase IV integration of medical simulation into the undergraduate, postgraduate, and Continuing Medical Education (CME) curricula. The total costs of the Center's renovation and equipment will be approximately $1.35 million when complete. The Center will also house programs for the Osteopathic Medical Network for Excellence in Education, (OMNEE), an Osteopathic Postgraduate Training Institute.
