Outpatient Health Services for VCOM Students
VCOM has an arrangement with two community physicians listed below to provide primary care services to VCOM students and their immediate family (spouses and children). Please note that these physicians do not work for the College, however, VCOM makes a contribution to this practice with the understanding that the care the physicians provide to you (and applicable dependents) for primary care office visits requires only a small co-pay of $10 per patient per visit.
VCOM is not the purchaser or provider of these health care services and therefore carries no decision making or liability for the services provided. Prescriptions, lab tests, immunizations, etc. are not included, although we understand these are provided to students at a reduced rate also. Please remember that you must continue to maintain your Health Insurance (major medical) and file any changes with the Registrar's Office.
When making an appointment, please be sure to identify yourself as a VCOM student or your dependants as VCOM dependents when you call for an appointment. Be sure to bring your VCOM Passport with you for services. In the case of your dependents that may be seen without you, please provide them with a copy of your VCOM passport unless your spouse has one of his/her own.

* The Family Practice of Dr. Clary and Dr. Jones is not a VCOM practice. You are not required to use this practice or these physicians for your health care. The Family Practices of Dr. Clary and Dr. Jones are the only ones known who offer these primary care services at a reduced rate.
