Assisting the Virginia Free Clinics in Providing Care to the Uninsured in Southwest and Southside Virginia

he VCOM Department of Under Served Care also supports faculty and students to provide the physician coverage in free clinics in Southwest Virginia. Faculty and students provide free medical services in the clinics each Friday. The free clinics include the Christiansburg, Marion, Pulaski, Bradley, and Giles free clinics. With the aid of VCOM faculty and students, hundreds of uninsured patients are assisted in these clinics.
