Greetings Class of 2015! A new year is upon us and we are eagerly preparing for all of the exciting adventures that await us in 2011. We hope that each of you will be able to join us for Accepted Students Day on April 2, 2011. Accepted Students Day is an exciting time for you and your family to familiarize yourself with VCOM and the Spartanburg community. This day will be filled with
exciting activities including information sessions about our curriculum; a financial aid information session; tours of Spartanburg and Wofford College; an information session for your family, spouse, or significant other; an information fair with representatives from local businesses, including apartment complexes and property management companies. Ronald Januchowski, D.O.
Associate Dean, Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs
Dr. Januchowski is a graduate of New York College of Osteopathic Medicine of the New York Institute of Technology. Dr. Januchowski completed a family practice residency program at Womack Army Medical Center in Fort Bragg, NC and has served in the Army Reserves since 2001. He was recently promoted to the rank of Colonel in the Army Reserves and currently serves as the commander of the 7225 Medical Support Unit in Greenville, South Carolina. In 2004, Dr. Januchowski began serving as the first osteopathic medical program director in South Carolina at the Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. With his extensive clinical experience, Dr. Januchowski will be a valuable member of the administrative team on the Carolinas Campus.
VCOM-Carolinas Campus has been fortunate to offer many students acceptance letters for the inaugural class. Please remember to secure your seat in the Class of 2015 by submitting your tuition deposit by the date indicated in your acceptance letter.

The South Carolina Osteopathic Medical Society has extended a special invitation to VCOM students for their “Meet Up” event to be held on March 19, 2011 in Charleston, South Carolina. This event will
provide an opportunity for you to get to know your fellow South Carolina Dos during a casual morning brunch at the South Carolina Aquarium. This will also be a wonderful opportunity for you to get to learn more about the South Carolina Osteopathic Medical Society and hear a special presentation about the VCOM-Carolinas Campus!
