Jimmi Narong Palmieri Memorial
Orphanage Outreach Fund
Jimmi Narong Palmieri, was adopted by his parents from an orphanage in Thailand when he was 16 days old. His father, Dr. Jim Palmieri has been an employee of VCOM – Virginia campus since 2003. Sadly, Jimmi died of cardiac complications on November 19, 2011 at the age of 34.
Recognizing that Jimmi enjoyed and embraced a wonderful life that many children do not have the opportunity to experience, Jimmi's father (VCOM faculty member) James Palmieri and his family wish to honor his memory through VCOM’s medical mission outreach programs to orphanages.
