October 18 -- A health fair was offered to employees in the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center (CRC) through a collaborative effort of the CRC, Lewis-Gale Memorial Hospital and VCOM. More than 60 people came through from businesses in the CRC including a few from VCOM itself.
Approximately 70 students, 15 staff members, and several other vendors sponsored 15 stations including stress management, flu shots, nutrition, pediatrics, osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM), and more. Screenings were also provided for bone density, vision, skin, blood glucose, BMI, and blood pressure.
