VCOM Recognized as 2011 Friend of NCHN (04/26/2011)
2011 Friend of NCHN: VCOM
Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) was the recipient of the 2011 Friend of NCHN award. The Friend of NCHN Award is given to recognize a program, institution, agency, or individual that has advocated for or provided extraordinary support to the Association.
With campuses in Blacksburg, Virginia and Spartanburg, South Carolina, VCOM is situated in the heart of the Appalachian region.
VCOM’s Mission is to provide medical education and research that prepares globalminded, community focused physicians and
improves the health of those most in need.
VCOM has a nationally recognized anatomy lab, simulation and technology center, a systems-based integrated curriculum, and a focus on rural and underserved populations of Appalachia and abroad.
VCOM has provided significant support for NCHN through payroll administration and travel funds. Many thanks to VCOM for its support!
