Professional and Community Activities: |
Dr. James Wolfe assumed the presidency of VCOM in January 2001. He has led the College through its initial stages of development, following a 32-year career at Virginia Tech. Dr. Wolfe's previous professional experience includes being a faculty member in the Department of Chemistry, Head of the Department of Chemistry, and University Vice Provost for Academic Affairs at Virginia Tech. |

Dr. Wolfe currently serves as a board member for the Blacksburg Partnership. He and his wife Nancy are members of Luther Memorial Lutheran Church and are avid supporters of the Virginia Tech Hokies. |
