Empress-Janeen Hughes Memorial Scholarship for Pediatrics Established

The college was saddened to learn of the tragic death of Empress-Janeen Hughes, D.O. from injuries sustained from an automobile accident on December 12, 2011 Dr. Hughes was a first year resident who graduated from VCOM in 2011.MORE  

VCOM Faculty Member's Son Remembered Through Memorial Fund

Jimmi Narong Palmieri, was adopted by his parents from an orphanage in Thailand when he was 16 days old. Sadly, Jimmi died of cardiac complications on November 19, 2011 at the age of 34. MORE
